VLADISLAVA VOJNOVIĆ



Born in Bela Crkva, Yugoslavia, June 24, 1965.


Vladislava Vojnović studied sociology at Belgrade University for two years before transferring to the Belgrade University of the Arts from which she graduated as a screenwriter in 1989. In 2001, she undertook specialist studies in Culture and Gender at AAOM.

From 1998 to 2002 she lectured in film and television screenwriting at the Belgrade University of Arts. She continues to lecture occasionally at alternative educational institutions.

Her professional credits include both the short and feature-length versions of Luks Films' The Paper Prince, as well as the theatre pieces No Footlights and Colombo's Egg.

From 1989 to 2002 she worked as a screenwriter for FRZ Beograd and she has also written for Radio Television Serbia's cultural and educational programs.

Vladislava has also published the poetry collections Female Heroic Poems (Narodna Knjiga Beograd, 2002) and The Dust Hunter (Narodna Knjiga Beograd, 2007). She has also published a large number of film criticisms, essays, poems, stories and poetry translations in various newspapers and magazines.

From 1993 to 2003 she presented film criticism and reviews for the Radio Television Serbia magazine program Metropolis.

Vladislava has been a member of the Association of Film Artists of Serbia since 1991 and a member of FIPRESCI SINCE 1992.
